I don't understand why my family likes coming here. It's just so so to me. The best thing is the onion string and fried jalapeño appetizer. Nothing else seems to stand out. That being said, the place is usually clean and the service prompt and polite.

This place has had issues in the past but the health department needs to inspect these guys regularly or just close it down. We waited for 20 minutes just to have to go find someone to take our order! The hostess was sitting there talking to one of the waitresses for the whole time and she was annoyed that I asked her to find our server. The manager came and apologized, which was good. She offered us a free appetizer which we thought was nice. My wife wanted chips and salsa. The salsa had a soggy chip in the bottom that was EASILY visible. It took 15 minutes to get a new bowl of salsa. Then the food came out and my wife's food was ice cold. I ordered the fajitas and found a REALLY LONG BLONDE HAIR in the microscopic salsa dish they serve with the fajitas. Horrible service and the food was worse!

Then after sitting for 20 minutes without any service I decided to leave. They were not very busy and it just seemed that no one cared. It appears this facility is struggling and I know why. The previous time it was similar but I sat for 25 minutes before a waitress showed up. The food was good but it took 45 minutes fir me to get food. I will never go back.

We went to celebrate the end of my first year of graduate school, and we left in a not-so-happy mood. When I go to Chili's, I expect greasy food and great margaritas. On this particular trip, we were seated in the bar area, and our server delivered our appetizer in due time. After that, everything went down hill. When a large group of men came into the bar, our server completely forgot about us. The only time he came to our table was to check and see if I had finished my Corona margarita because he needed a part of the glass (the part that holds the beer bottle) to serve one of the men at the bar. By the time we got our food, we were both so full that I hardly enjoyed my meal. When I order the chips and queso, I do not expect to finish all of the chips. When the food did arrive, my hubby's food was cold. The manager came to check on how we were doing, and eventually waived the cost of my husband's meal. I appreciate what the manager did, but I would have much preferred to pay for the meal and leave a happy camper.

Well, because I just bought a house literally a block and a half down the road, and when your kitchen is still packed with moving supplies, pushing it all aside to cook isn't appealing. Same for traveling 20 minutes downtown to get to the restaurants I typically frequent. It's all good. I'm officially a West Valley-ite now and I need to embrace it. I think Chili's has done a good job trying to revamp their menu, so that's OK I guess. But really, what makes this place good is the bartender Phil, that guy is good at his job and should get a raise. Not even kidding. Head straight for the bar if you come here, get food, and let Phil fill up your cups multiple times and maybe you'll forget your spending your late Friday evening at a freaking Chili's.

So, it's just a good place to go to if you're feeling lazy on being a chef for a day. The customer service is noticeably very friendly so that is definitely a plus. Yup, just a Chili's in the Chili chain.
